Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru, has rejected offers from Russian clubs, CSKA Moscow and Locomotiv Moscow, preferring a loan switch to Turkish Super Lig giants, Galatasary.

The Nigerian international has struggled for game time with ASC Monaco of France since joining them from English side, Everton FC, during the summer transfer window. Onyekuru has found himself down the pecking order since his arrival in Monaco, making just four appearances under coach Leonardo Jardim who prefers the trio of Wissam Ben Yedder, Gelson Martin, and Islam Slimani in attack.

The French Ligue 1 outfits are willing to part ways with the 2019 AFCON bronze medalist for a fee in the region of €2.5m. Russian giants, CSKA Moscow and Locomotiv Moscow who already have another Nigerian, Bryan Idowu, in their ranks, have both shown interest in the versatile forward but the Nigerian star has clearly stated his intention to return to Turkey where he spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, helping them clinch the Super Lig title with 14 goals in 31 appearances for the Fathi Terim managed side.
