Super Eagles striker and Fenerbache frontman, Emmanuel Emenike, has inked a deal with Globacom Limited to become its brand ambassador.
Emenike was unveiled as a ‘Glo Ambassador’ at the Mike Adenuga Towers in Lagos last Friday. Segun Adeyemo, national sales coordinator, Globacom, described Emenike as a model for what the Nigerian spirit embodies.
“Globacom has always been in the forefront of sports development in Nigeria and Africa, committing over N9 billion to the holistic development of the sector. We have stood by the nation’s football because we believe that this is the most patriotic thing to do as a proudly Nigerian telecoms brand,” Adeyemo said.
Emenike expressed thanks to the Globacom organisation, which is also the major sponsor of the Nigerian national teams and title sponsor of the Nigeria Premier League.
“I thank Globacom for considering me a worthy ambassador. I will continue to do my best for Nigeria and work hard in ensuring that we get good results in Brazil,” Emenike said.
