Now, the Police are truly our friend.  On Wednesday, 26th July, Nigerian Senate changed the name of Nigerian Police Force to Nigerian Police. Nigeria Police is the primary law enforcement agency in Nigeria.  In lieu of the constitutional review process ongoing at the eight National assembly. 87 senators voted in support for the change of name while 2 Senators voted against and one sustained. Maybe now that the name has been changed, there won’t be the display of their power and strength. The change becomes effective when signed into law by the Nigerian President.
