Nigerian striker, Ighodaro Osaguona has emerged the leading scorer in this year’s CAF Champions League. Osaguona, who scored 18 goals in the Nigerian Premier League last season, has scored five goals for Raja Casablanca so far in the competition.
He grabbed his first CAF Champions League goal this year in his side’s 4-0 home drubbing of Diables Noir of Congo. He then scored another goal in the reverse fixture in Congo where the Congolese side held Raja to a 2-2 draw.
Last month, he came up with the match winner against Kaiser Chiefs of South Africa before netting a brace in the return leg on Sunday to help Raja record a 4-0 aggregate win.
