Osahon Enabulele, a Consultant Family Physician and the current President of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has emerged the Vice President of the Commonwealth Medical Association, CMA, the
Premium Times has reported.
The election took place during the 23rd triennial conference and council meeting of the 51-year-old renowned global medical body which held at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Enabulele, alongside other elected officers, will pilot the medical association’s affairs for three years.
Dr. Enabulele said, “As Vice President, I will superintend over the West African Region and my first objective is to galvanize the countries within the West African Region and then set an agenda focused on strengthening the National Medical Associations, Healthcare and the wellbeing of the people within the West African Region.”
