Nigeria’s men football national team (U-23) triumphed over their Congolese counterparts 5-3 on penalties to win the bronze medal at the 2015 All Africa Games on Thursday. Goalkeeper, Emmanuel Daniel was the hero when he saved Sagesse Babele’s penalty kick, while Etor Daniel, Sodiq Atanda, Kingsley Sokari, Erhun Obanor and Christian Pyagbara all scored from the penalty spot for Nigeria. The game was a tight encounter and finished goalless after maximum time.
