Today’s friendly is the third time both teams are clashing in a friendly game with the first friendly between both countries in 1984 ending 5-0 in favour of Tunisia, while both countries settled for a 1-1 draw in 1992 in Tunis. Last time the North Africans defeated Nigeria was on a penalty shootout in the 2004 AFCON semi-finals which Tunisia hosted and won. Since then, both teams have clashed on five occasions with Nigeria on top, commanding two wins and three draws. Source: Complete Sports Featured Image Source: @NGSuperEagles – Twitter
