The French Agency for Development (AFD), a public development finance institution, has said it recently approved €400 million as grant to finance transport and energy projects in Nigeria. This was stated by the Country Director, AFD, Mr. Hubert Dognin at the European Union (EU)- Nigeria business forum held in Lagos.

the Cross River State government yesterday awarded a N2.4 billion contract for the construction and expansion of the Okpoma, Yala water scheme. This is coming barely a month after the government awarded contracts for two other water schemes, including the Phase 2 of the Ikom Water Project.

Nigeria has recorded further growth in domain name registration in the month of August, 2014, according to the statistics released by the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA). The statistics reflected that in the month of August 2014, Nigeria recorded 1,437 fresh domain name registrations, 966 renewal cases and 33 transfer cases, totaling 2, 436, which is an improvement on previous months’ records.
