ConnectNigeria_SouthAfrica The South African Football Association (SAFA) has confirmed Cape Town as the venue for the 2015 AFCON qualifier between South Africa and Nigeria on September 10th. Despite South Africa’s recent poor run of results at the stadium, it is believed SAFA chose Cape Town as the venue due to the monies the association will receive from the city for hosting the international fixture. The last time Nigeria and South Africa met at the same venue in January, Nigeria trounced South Africa 3-1 in the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
