President Jonathan has appointed new military chiefs. They will take charge of three of the four top military positions in the country.  Vice Admiral O.S. Ibrahim replaced Air Chief Marshal Oluseyi Petinrin  as the new chief of defense staff, Rear Admiral D.J. Ezeoba is new chief of naval staff while Air Vice-Marshal A.S. Badeh replaced Air Marshal Mohammed Umar as the head the Air Force. Lieutenant-General O.A. Ihejirika remains in charge of the Army and was not replaced in a move by the government – shortly after the 52nd independence anniversary of Nigeria.   Photo Credit: premiumtimesng.com
