Super Falcons’ defender, Ngozi Ebere and striker, Desire Oparanozie have been included in the list of top 46 players at the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 despite a frustrating outing in Canada. The list was released by American female football site, womensoccerunited.com. Ebere and Oparanozie were joined by two other African players on the list. Cameroonian player, Gaelle Enganamouit, who became the first African woman to score a hat-trick at a World Cup in her side’s 6-0 thrashing of Ecuador, as well as Ivorian goalkeeper, Dominique Thiamale also made the cut. We wish the Super Falcons good luck in the Rio Olympics Qualifiers as they begin preparations to host Equatorial Guinea in Abuja next month.
