The Nigeria Football Federation has revealed that it would earn $3.75 million (N743 million) during its three-year partnership with Nike and $500,000 (N99 million) bonus if the Super Eagles qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The country has now joined Australia, Brazil, England, France, Portugal, South Africa, South Korea and the U.S. in Nike’s portfolio. NFF’s president, Amaju Pinnick said “We are comfortable with the contract, because Nike Inc. came across during the negotiations as being fluid and ready to listen to our demands. That is always the key aspect; you always need a partner with a listening ear.”
