ConnectNigeria_SuperEagles   Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) have enquired about the possibility of German legend, Lothar Matthaus replacing Stephen Keshi as Super Eagles coach. According to SL10.org, NFF made contact with the Nigerian representative of Lothar Matthaus’ agent who informed them that the football legend has a lucrative contract, as a TV pundit, with Sky Deutschland. The Nigerian representative further insisted that NFF must buy out the remainder of Lothar Matthaus’ contract with the satellite TV Company if he is to take the reins of Super Eagles management. “My partner in Germany, Ralf Simonx, has told me Lothar Matthaus has an agreement with Sky. He remains interested in the Nigeria job but the NFF will have to pay compensation to the TV Company before they agree to release him” “As for Jens Keller, he is no longer interested in coaching the super Eagles because he has fears he might contract Ebola if he is appointed coach and has to live in Nigeria,” said Michael Nicholas. Another German coach, Bernd Storck and former Swiss defender, Martin Andermatt are also interested in the job. Who do you want the NFF to employ as Super Eagles coach?
