  As part of preparations for a four-nation invitational tourney expected to hold in DR Congo from September 30 to October 3, 2021, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has released a list of 26 home-based players expected to report to camp for the competition.

The technical director of the NFF, Austin Eguavoen, is expected to lead the team and will be assisted by former Nigerian U-20 national team coach, Paul Aigbogun. Top scorer of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, Silas Nwankwo, who plies his trade with Nasarawa United, headlines the squad alongside the likes of Enyimba’s Tosin Omoyele, Lobi Stars shot-stopper, Stanley Nwabili, and others. Aside from the hosts (DR Congo), Nigeria, Congo Brazaville, and Sierra Leone complete the list of participating teams in the tournament that will see all matches played at the Stade Martyrs, Kinshasa.
