The
NFF Electoral committee has begun preparations for the
2018 NFF Election, scheduled for the 29th of September 2018.
Chairman of the committee,
Mohammed Sani Katu, told
thenff.com that plans have already been put in motion and meetings regarding the organization of the elections have already began holding to ensure for a smooth election. He added that in no time, guidelines and timelines would be made public in line with provisions of the NFF Electoral Code.
“We have started our work, with a number of meetings. The committee is committed to doing its work fully in line with the dictates of the Electoral Code and to ensure the best –ever NFF Elections come September.
“It is a huge responsibility that we have been saddled with but we are very much equal to the task and will ensure that we stage elections that the winners and the losers would be happy about.”

The Electoral Body
The Electoral body including its head is made up of Mr. Sani Salawu, Barrister S. C. A. Umeha, Barrister Olusola Oke and Mr. Mohammed Manzo as members, while the NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, is the secretary.
Standby members of the committee include Hon. Isong Isang and Barrister Mohammed Aliyu Sambo.
The president of the CAF appeals panel, A. U. Mustapha (Senior Advocate of Nigeria), leads the NFF Electoral Appeals Committee comprised of NFF Head of Legal Unit, Barrister Okey Obi as secretary, Mr. Mojeed Adegbindin and Barrister Gbwen Alex Gbejule as members, and standby members include Sir Emma Ochiagha and Barrister Mohammed Zanna Mala.
