Super Eagles and Leicester City forward,
Wilfred Ndidi, won the Leicester City’s Young Player of the Year award for the season at the club’s annual end of season dinner/award night on Tuesday night.

Ndidi who, signed for Leicester City from Belgium outfit KRC Genk in January 2017, has been at his best so far growing from just another player on the block to being a very crucial part of the foxes’s everyday play.
The 21-year old currently tops both the club’s and Premier League overall tackling charts with 138 successful tackles so far.
The Nigerian top gun was also nominated for the Player’s Player of the Season alongside Harry Maguire and James Vardy, however Maguire was the receipt of the award. The England centre back also won the Leicester City’s 2017/18 Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season award.
Jamie Vardy on the other hand won the Goal of the Season award for his goal against Westbrom.
For the Performance of the season award decided by manage Claude Puel, the coach chose the 4-1 victory over Southampton at St. Mary’s in December.
Hamza Choudhury and Conor Tee won the Development Squad Player of the season award and Academy Player of the Season award respectively.
