The Nigerian Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) said it would create automobile training school in the country in order to train youths across Nigeria in vehicle production.
This was made known by the Director General of the agency, Mr. Jelani Aliyu, at the launch of the maiden magazine created by the Federated Organization of Sokoto State Student’s Association in Sokoto.
Aliyu, the famous Nigerian Chevrolet Car designer, assured that the agency is aimed at successfully harnessing the talents of the Nigerian youths in order to support and develop the country’s automobile industry. He asserted that their focus is to introduce a learning platform where the youths would be supported in developing their own ideas into reality.
He added, according to Guardian Newspaper, that foreign investors have been invited to partner with the initiative. He, however, opines that Nigerians have the opportunity to adopt advanced solutions and use the solution to develop the nation as the solution to Nigeria’s problems are with each and every citizen of the country.
In his remarks, the Governor of Sokoto State, Governor Aminu Tambuwal commended the director for giving the youths hope of moving the nation forward.
