To commemorate Worker’s Day, Victor Agbo, an upcoming artiste who released his first song, Gbaba Egwu, in December 2015, has yet let out another song, Not Just For Me.
Produced by Iceberg Beats, the song brings our attention to how everyday actions have brought us to where we are today. Though our lives are ours, we do not just live for ourselves. Where we are today reflects an accumulation and connection of everyone’s activities.
Workers can appreciate the truth that no work is inconsequential. This is thought-provoking. The banker does not bank for himself neither does the baker provide bread for himself alone. The services of the farmer are no less important than those of the pharmacists and artists do not just produce music or craft for themselves, their works inspire people.
Knowing that we all bring our share towards the growth of the nation gives us some pride and inspires us to put more love in what we do.
