Former member of the now defunct P-square,
Mr P, has won his first award since the duo split last year. The singer won the award for
Best International Male Artist over the weekend at the 2018 edition of the
International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA).
The
Ebeano singer was nominated in two award categories; Best Male Artist and Best International Male Artist and ended with the Best International Male Artist at the award ceremony which held on the 22nd of September. The singer was unavoidably absent at the ceremony due to his tour of the US and Canada, however posted a heartwarming message to his fans on Instagram.
