Multiple award winning director, producer and Sneeze Films founder, Moses Inwang, has released the trailer for his new movie romance film “Cold Feet”.
The Synopsis
A surprise trip to an exotic resort in celebration of their fifth anniversary turns out to be a disaster for a retired army colonel and his wife, Omoye, as they run into a mutual friend – Omoye’s old love interest. Their meeting rekindles a flame of romance that eventually leaves them scalded, the effect of which reverberates to other aspects of their lives.
The Director
Inwang has been a major contributor to the Nigerian film industry since the 1998 movie “Two Good Men” which he co-produced. Since then, he has worked on movies like:
- “Lost Maiden” bringing to the fore the ills of female genital mutilation,
- “Save Our Souls” a film about cancer,
- The 2011 movie “Damaged”, which focused on domestic violence against women. Damaged” got him nominated for best director at the African Oscars in Florida USA, while the movie itself won the Best Film Award.
- “The Stalker” which won three awards at the GIAMA awards and Best International Film at the New York film Festival all in 2015, the 2016 best international film at The Peoples Film Festival, Harlem New York
- “American Driver”,
- The 2017 blockbuster “Alter Ego”, starring Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, which was adjudged Most Outstanding Film at the Africa International Film Festival AFRIFF, the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards AMVCA Best Screenplay award winner, and best International film at the Peoples Film Festival, New York.
Inwang was also City People Award’s Best Director in 2013, the same year that his psychological thriller “Torn” was nominated in a record 9 categories at the GIAMA Awards in Houston, Texas, and in 6 categories at the Best of Nollywood Awards.
The intriguing romance film stars Jim Iyke, Beverly Naya, Joselyn Dumas and Enyinna Nwigwe, and will be released in cinemas on the 17th of May 2019.
