Dubbed as the biggest conference relating to mobile web and applications in West Africa, the Mobile Web West Africa edition of 2013, spread over four days — has featured discussions, presentations and networking. Participants came from around Africa, and internationally, submitting their works, looking at the local tech industry and what it should be in the future.
Corporations and startups pitched, including Qualcomm, Airtel Nigeria, Etisalat Nigeria, ThoughtWorks, Eskimi, biNU, iROKING, Thompson Reuters and more.
Sessions were divided into presentations, and roundtable, divided by tea breaks – and lunch. Firms from South Africa, Ghana, Europe and Nigeria pitched.
The event would would close with an invite-only developers session — on Friday.
