In an effort to promote youth-led leadership in Nigeria, Rise Networks is set to commemorate the 2015 United Nations International Youth Day with an interactive forum, The Nation reports. Themed Youth Civic Engagement: The Significant Role of Youth in Politics and Public Life, it is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Multi-Purpose Hall, University of Lagos, commencing from 12 noon. The event will feature prominent entrepreneurs and leaders including entertainment media magnates, Mo Abudu and Dele Momodu, and will push forward the notion of the Nigerian youth engaging more in politics and civic activities. The United Nations has also given an official endorsement for the event.   Source: The Nation
