Jorge Sampaoli, Argentina manager has put together a 22-man squad including Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero for their upcoming friendly against Russia and Nigeria in Russia come November.
Jorge Sampaoli, coached Argentina to finish third place in the CONMEBOL qualifications stage to qualify for Russia 2018 after a pretty tough run, with Messi literally bearing the team on his shoulders in their qualification match. Sampaoli has named the Barcelona super forward with Manchester City Striker Kun Aguero and Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi face off Nigeria in the Krasnodar Arena Stadium, Russia on the 14th of November.
In a report on ole.com.ar, the Argies Coach did not include the names of eight big stars playing abroad in the squad to face Nigeria and Russia in next month’s friendlies but has stated that he will call up more players from the Argentine league for the matches.
