Ejiro Amos Tafiri Ejiro was born in Lagos. She had a background in science but she later shifted towards fashion and thereafter proceeded to the Yaba College of Science and Technology where she studied fashion. Since starting out as an independent designer in 2010, Ejiro’s brand has gone on to become a household name in the fashion scene. She has participated at prestigious fashion shows including; Arise Fashion Week in Johannesburg, South Africa; New York Fashion Week; Face of Africa and at the MTN Lagos Fashion and Design Week. She has styled an endless number of celebrities.
Yomi Casual The brand is run by Makun Omoniyi Olorunyomi. Yomi Casual is known for his cut to fit urban wears. Yomi Casual has dressed a lot of celebrities in Nigeria including his very famous and equally successful comedian brother, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY. Yomi has participated in a number of fashion shows including; COSA Fashion Show and Port Harcourt Fashion Week. The brand has since grown to great heights since its inception.
Kola Kuddus Kola Kudus first commenced business as a personal shopper in 2004. He got into designing in 2008. His work has been featured in the style section of the New York Times and notable fashion magazines and blogs across the globe. He has also participated as a designer in a number of fashion shows including; Arise Fashion Week, Lagos Fashion and Design Week, and at the ECOWAS Fashion Week. He is an active executive of the Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN).
Tewa Onasanya Tewa trained as a Pharmacologist at the University of Portsmouth, England. She later got into publishing with the help of her family and friends. She is the publisher of Exquisite magazine. The magazine discusses the style of the African woman. She is also the Founder of the Exquisite Lady of The Year Award (Eloy). Tewa has been active in the fight against breast and cervical cancer. She was featured recently on CNN.
Onome Fasan Onome studied Philosophy at the University of Lagos. She had previously worked at an event company and at an Oil and Gas firm before venturing into fashion. She left her jobs to found Ebonyworth; a Public Relations company that seeks to promote young designers. She also runs a modelling agency. Little wonder she was the 2013/2014 Executive Director of the Nigerian Next Top Designer.
