The Vision Behind Mammy Nest

Mammy Nest was founded by Dorcas Anani, also known as Zibi, a seasoned media professional, intentional mother, and dynamic advocate for women. The initiative was born from a deeply personal experience during her mother’s postnatal visit, known as ‘omugwo.’ Witnessing her mother reflect on the dreams she had set aside for her family, Zibi was inspired to create a platform that encourages mothers to pursue their aspirations alongside their roles as caregivers. With a career spanning various facets of the media industry—from TV production and voice acting to fashion modelling and brand media promotions—Zibi understands the challenges mothers face in balancing work and life. Her vision for Mammy Nest is to ensure that motherhood acts as a catalyst for personal growth and fulfilment.
