Lagos International Trade Fair 2025 Wraps Up with Success

The 2025 Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) concluded on 16th November 2025 with a lively and colourful closing ceremony, celebrating yet another year of business innovation and trade opportunities. The event was graced by the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by Mr Gbenga Omotosho, Commissioner for Information and Strategy.

In his keynote address, the Governor lauded the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) for their steadfast commitment to organising the fair for 39 consecutive years, emphasising the fair’s importance in promoting commerce and investment in Lagos State.

The proceedings commenced with a welcome address by Hon. Folashade Bada-Ambrose, Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade & Investment, followed by the closing speech of LCCI President, Mr Gabriel Idahosa FCA. Mr Idahosa expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Government for its support, acknowledging the Trade Promotion Board and LCCI staff for ensuring a seamless and well-executed event. He noted that feedback from exhibitors and visitors would guide the planning for an even more impactful 2026 edition.

The ceremony also featured goodwill messages from key stakeholders, award presentations, and captivating cultural performances, adding excitement and celebration to the event. Prince Abimbola Olashore FCA, Vice President and Chairman of the Trade Promotion Board, LCCI, delivered the final remarks, officially bringing the 2025 fair to a close.
