The Afropreneur Network, an organisation dedicated to championing the growth of African Entrepreneurs, has launched a new interactive online map of Lagos’ startup ecosystem. The aim is to give a comprehensive view of the Lagos startup ecosystem by the end of 2017. The map features crowd-sourced data, providing home-grown and international startups with a useful, visual guide to the startups, resources and supports available across Lagos.
Mapping startups, service providers, incubators, accelerators, co-working spaces, funding sources, and more; the online interactive map will be continuously updated with crowd-sourced data from the Lagos Startup Sector.
Managed and curated by The Afropreneur Network in conjunction with Startup Grind Lagos, the map will be extended to cover the whole of Nigeria by 2018. Startups and organisations in Lagos providing supports to startups can add their details to the map here – http://bit.ly/2pAX4e9
Uwem Uwemakpan, Co-founder of The Afropreneur Network said “When you are starting out or scaling up, startups need all the support they can get. Having a live, visual guide to the community, network and supports available is vital for both home-grown startups and for international startups choosing Lagos as a location to start, scale and succeed from.
Our goal is to deliver the most comprehensive map of Lagos’ startup ecosystem, reflecting the vibrancy of Lagos’s startup scene both nationally and internationally, and we invite startups and those who can support startups to get on the map.”
