Christmas seems to be coming early for those in the telecommunication and ICT industry as the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry in conjunction with public and private stakeholders is putting together a professional trade show that focuses on Information and Communication Technology and the Telecommunication Industry.
The event which would hold on the 26th to 28th of July 2016 at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos is an opportunity for businesses, decision makers, innovation managers, enterprise solution providers, start-ups, ICT academics, investors and every stakeholder in the ICT industry to come together to network, pitch ideas, exhibit products and learn from each other.
The theme of the Expo is “Mobility, Technology and the Nigerian Economy” and in addition to the conference, there will be exhibitions, a hackathon, pitch theatre and an award and gala night. The event is fully packed to give a comprehensive overview of trends in the ICT Industry.
Speaking on the event at the Business Cocktail and Press Conference organized by the Lagos Chamber of Conference and Industry (LCCI), the President of LCCI, Chief Dr. Mrs. Nike Akande said that “The staging of this year’s exhibition is a manifestation of the promise made by the Chamber during the maiden edition held in 2015, that the ICTEL expo would be an annual event. I am therefore proud to say that the LCCI, as usual, has kept its promise to the business community to continue to provide platforms for trade promotion and development. This ICTEL Expo is therefore one of the chamber’s interventions in starting relevant conversations and providing a platform for the ICT and Telecommunications sector. I therefore join the Chairman of the Trade Promotion Board and partners to invite you all to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in the 2016 ICTEL Expo. It is therefore my greatest pleasure and honour to unveil to the business community and other public sector institutions, the 2016 Information Communication Technology and Telecommunications (ICTEL Expo 2016).”
Endeavour to be there, it’s the event of the year.
