Who Can Apply?
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Company establishment period: 0-5 years; founder age range: 18-40 years.
- Startups, innovators, and collaborative teams in agribusiness or food systems.
- Base of operations in Lagos or projects that benefit Lagos’s agricultural and food network.
- Valid Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration required.
- Valid Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASSRA) registration required.
- Possession of an innovative approach that tackles significant agricultural or food system challenges.

Applications should focus on one or multiple areas from the following:
- Sustainable Agriculture: Approaches for maintaining soil quality, managing water resources, and implementing environmentally conscious farming methods.
- Food Production: Solutions spanning the entire value chain.
- Agri-fintech: Digital financial products and services designed for farmers and agricultural enterprises.
- Precision Farming: Implementation of IoT, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies to boost agricultural output.
- Supply Chain & Logistics: Creative approaches to storage, transport, and distribution systems.
- Food Security: Addressing malnutrition, minimising food wastage, and enhancing accessibility.

The competition unfolds through several phases:

- Initial Selection – Leading submissions advance based on originality, practicality, and growth potential.
- Evaluation Round – Selected participants present concepts to expert industry panels for assessment.
- Mentorship Program – Chosen candidates work with industry specialists to enhance their proposals.
- Final Presentation – Top contenders demonstrate their solutions before judges comprising industry veterans, investors, and policy makers.
