Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo has been overlooked by coach Stephen Keshi for the team’s summer matches between May and mid-July.
Nigeria is billed to play 10 matches in the summer; Keshi has invited a total of 30players for the hectic fixtures.
The African champions have a friendly against fellow Confederation contenders, Mexico, in Texas, USA in May before two World Cup qualifiers against Kenya and Namibia.
Nigeria will also represent Africa in Confederations Cup in June, where they have been grouped with World Champion, Spain, Copa America champions, Uruguay and Tahiti.
Mikel Obi, Victor Moses, Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed Musa are all on the list, as well as Kalu Uche, who’s been recalled to the team after 16 months.
