E-commerce company, Jumia Nigeria has released news of its highly impressive Black Friday Sale, as cited in an official press release.
Fatoumata Ba, Managing Director of Jumia Nigeria disclosed on Thursday morning the results.
“Our amazing performance on Black Friday demonstrates the success of our strategy to continuously deliver the best retail value proposition through the widest assortment, at the best price and the best possible shopping experience,” she stated.
According to Jumia Nigeria, the just-concluded Black Friday 2015 marks a turning point in the company’s operations locally. A record number of brands and vendors participated, providing exclusive deals to participating customers. Millions of Nigerians also reportedly visited the website, with approximately 25 times more revenue than on average.
The company is now preparing for Christmas festive season, getting set “to allow every Nigerian to spoil his/her beloved ones with even more amazing products”.

Jumia is doing amazingly well in the e trade sector in Nigeria. They have adopted a lot of strategies to help grow their awareness and customer base. I think they should also focus on taking the opportunities that lies across other states in Nigeria where there competitors are yet to notice.
