Are you seeking support and mentoring as a young entrepreneur? Mara Mentor might just be the opportunity you have been waiting for.
Mara Mentor is an online mentoring initiative set up by the pan-African Mara Foundation with the aim of enabling, inspiring and empowering young entrepreneurs. Business and economic development is promoted as members share knowledge and ideas with themselves and their mentors – who are leaders in their professional fields.
Founded in 2009, Mara Foundation (a subsidiary of the Mara Group) strives to support and encourage entrepreneurship on a global scale after a successful pilot in Africa. It aims to efficiently develop countries’ SME sectors by providing mentoring, funding, networking and capacity building opportunities to emerging entrepreneurs.
Eldee, Mai Atafo, Bankole Cardoso, David Gerard and Greg Odutayo are just a few of the many Mara Mentors who span across various business sectors including: media, health, technology, power/energy and construction. Training opportunities are also available for members in the areas of Business Strategy, Product Design and the latest ‘Cloudpreneurs Project’ being organized in collaboration with Fate Foundation and Microsoft.
