The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced on Tuesday, the dates for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The Registrar of the Board, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, announced this at a meeting with the stakeholders themed “The Strategic Planning On the Conduct of 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination
The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination is scheduled to hold from March 9 to March 17 in about 620 Computer Based centers across the nation.
The mock examination which was formerly slated to be held between the 22 January and 24 January, has been postponed to the first week in February as a result of the ongoing strike by non-teaching staff of universities. He added that the board was unable to access the CBT centers that would be involved in the mock examination because most of the centers are situated in the universities and the non-teaching staff is on strike.
He added that about 10% of the expected candidates have registered for the examination, as regards the sales of forms. He further insisted that the prohibition of materials is applicable to candidates, supervisors and also the examiners.
