The Dawn of a New Day
Felt with every glance I make,
Beauty bewitching my soul,
My emotions plead for outlets,
As I gaze amazed,engrossed in fantasies,
She vanishes and awakens me to reality.She was vast and bountiful,
Stood a giant in comparison to others,
Her aura was natural, like the feel of being evergreen,
She mesmerized everyone that met her.
The sun lights her face made of gold,
Real beauty, no wonder in darkness she glows,
Everyone falls in love with her,
For she’s beauty’s epitome.
She lies in the heartbeat of Africa,
Parted by the Niger and Benue,
Filled with riches in abundance,
She’s Nigeria a land of better tomorrow.
