With the response of Nigerians toward the appointment of Mrs Ogechi Ololo as Commissioner of Ministry of Happiness and Purpose Fulfilment, a name that had been changed from the previous name,’Commissioner of Happiness and Couples Fulfilment’, due to alleged printing errors, in Imo State by the Imo State Governor, Governor Rochas Okorocha, the newly appointed commissioner has come out to allay fears.
Mrs Ogechi Ololo has come out to say her appointment should not be trivialized, as it was made in order to make the people of the state happy. She has been defending her position online as well as granting interviews in order to justify the appointment.
Although she is the sister of the current governor, Governor Rochas Okorocha, she stated that her brother should not be accused of nepotism, as she deserves the appointment, having previously served in the capacity of the deputy chief of staff, domestic and internal affairs, in the government.
According to The Guardian, she insisted that he, Governor Rochas Okorocha, did not just create the ministry because she is his sister, but that policies of happiness have been put in place to ensure the people of Imo State are happy.
The Executive Governor of Imo State; Rochas Okorocha has done a good job in commissioning this new office which is a first of its kind in Nigeria. The people of great Imo State deserve Happiness and a fulfilled life. God bless Imo State
