Odion Ighalo has continued to prove his critics wrong and continued to prove that the money spent in securing his services by Manchester United was no waste after scoring his fourth goal for the club in Thursday’s (March 12, 2020) 2nd round of 16 UEFA Europa League clash against LASK. Ighalo opened the scoring for the visitors in the 28th minute, a game United would go on to win 5-0.

Ighalo went on to provide an assist for Daniel James to make it 2-0 for United before Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira put themselves on the score sheet to complete the rout. With Thursday night’s win, Manchester United now take a five goal advantage into the second-leg of the 2nd round as Ole Gunner Solskjaer and his charges continue with their quest for a European title this season.
