Dynamo Kiev striker, Brown Ideye has attracted the interest of EPL side, Newcastle United. His current employers have told the North-East English club that they would have to fork out £9 million if they are to acquire the services of the striker. League cup winners, Swansea City and West Ham United were also rumoured by the press to be interested in signing Ideye but the striker’s sights seem to be on a move to Newcastle United, according to his agent, Hootan Ahmadi. “There is a lot of interest from Premier League clubs, but Newcastle would be for us the most good option for a number of reasons. “They have very good fans, and they play attacking football. Brown himself knows the club and the league well. So he is ready to test himself at this level, but we’ll see in the summer what we can do.” Ahmadi said. Ideye is in his second season with the Ukrainain side, after helping them win the Ukrainian Super Cup last year. He has also scored 28 goals in 52 matches for the club. Ideye has also played in Switzerland and France with Neuchatel Xamax and Sochaux respectively.
