I Can Do Better than Buhari – Anambra Lawmaker

Edward Obiefuna Ibuzo, representing Onitsha-North 2 state constituency and chairman of the Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Transport, has made his intention known to run for presidency in the 2019 elections. Ibuzo declared that he could do better than President Mohammadu Buhari. “In all honesty, I am 46 years old. I was born in 1972 and I believe from after the civil war which ended in 1970 till now, we have not had any Igbo president.” He noted that it was time for an Igbo man to run the affairs of the Nigerian nation. The lawmaker said that he wanted to run for presidency because of his love for Nigeria. He highlighted his wealth of experience as an administrative which he says would help place Nigeria on the path of economic prosperity, social cohesion and political stability. Ibuzo said he’s lived on different parts of the globe pointing out that his wealth of knowledge and experience could do better than President Mohammadu Buhari. From Independent.ng
