Have you ever sent a formal email to your boss with errors and by the time you discovered it, you wished for the ground to open up and swallow you? Google has found a way for you to ‘turn back the hands of time’ by announcing the addition of a new feature called the Undo Send which allows you retract an email you have sent for a few seconds so you can make corrections before it gets to the recipient.
It gets better with an app from a different developer called Unsendit which allows you to edit an email at any time even after it has gotten to the recipient or after the mail has been opened. It can also destroy the email and the attachment and make them disappear from the email box of the receiver.
Unsendit works with existing email addresses on Gmail, Outlook, AppleMail and more. To try out the feature, register for an account with your existing email and follow the set up guide
here.
What do you think of the app? Do you like it? Dislike it? Think it is cool? Let us know in the comments section below.
