This is a perfect combination of sweet and tart, and the addition of mint and ginger gives it a herbal feel. The smoothie is not only refreshing, it helps boost the immune system seeing that pineapple is an excellent source of Vitamins C and B6. The lime helps flush out toxins.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 2 tsp mint leaves
- ¼ grated fresh ginger
- 2 tsp honey(optional)
- 1 cup of unflavoured yoghurt
- 2 ½ cups ice cube
Directions
Assemble the pineapple chunks, with mint leaves, lime juice and ginger in a blender and purée until mint is finely chopped. Add the yoghurt, ice cubes and honey if desired until smooth. Let it stand for 3 minutes then serve.

Nice stuff, I love the addition of the mint leaves, ginger and lime. I think it would give a wonderful taste. I would love to try this.
