Meanwhile, unsalted butter, nutmeg, vanilla flavour and orange are a few extra additions to today’s pancake. These ingredients made the pancake extra yummy. I encourage you to try not only this recipe but this method of pancake making as well. I’m sure they’ll make your pancake experience delightful.
Ingredients
330 grams of all-purpose flour 140 grams of sugar 2 eggs 1 cup of milk Diced scotch bonnet pepper 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter A dash of vanilla Two pinches of ground nutmeg A pinch of salt A zest of orangeHow to Prepare
Measure out all the ingredients. Use a grater to zest the orange. Please note that all that’s needed in the orange is the orange skin and you can get this by running the orange lightly through the grater. Keep it light; if you apply pressure, you’ll get the lower layer which is bitter. When you’re done zesting, use a toothpick to pick out the bits that are stuck in the grater.Sign up to the Connect Nigeria daily newsletter
Add all the wet ingredients to the blender. Then add the dry ingredients but leave out the flour and salt. Whizz the ingredients in a blender for a few seconds. Divide the flour into portions and add it to the blender, a portion at a time until it’s finished. Then blend in a pinch of salt and your batter is ready. I’m sure we can all agree that this is a pretty easy and stress-free method. Anyway, now that your pancake batter is ready, get out your frying pan. Add oil to it and fry away. Lol. In case you don’t know, a pancake is best served hot. Reference: Dooney’s Kitchen Featured Image Source: Rachael Ray Show
