On Apple Music, there are more than 70 million songs that users can stream or listen to. From playlists created by music experts to a 24/7 Apple Music radio station for listening to music selected by DJs from around the world, Apple Music has become one of the top music streaming apps in the world.
Meanwhile, a number of users complain about not finding it easy to unsubscribe from Apple Music plans much after they desire to quit subscribing.
Different steps exist for the variety of devices through which Apple subscription is enabled. Some of the steps to cancel an Apple Music subscription using an iPhone, iPad, Android device, PC, Mac, or on the web are highlighted below:
On iOS/iPadOS
It is pretty straightforward to cancel an Apple subscription on iOS.
All you have to do is navigate to Settings, locate [your name], then click ‘Subscriptions’.
On the ‘Edit Subscription’ screen, tap the ‘Cancel Subscription’ (or Free Trial) button and confirm the cancellation.
On Android
One method for Android users to unsubscribe from Apple Music is via clicking on the ‘Listen Now’ icon. Proceed to open the settings menu, then select ‘Account’. Choose ‘Manage Subscription’ and then tap ‘Cancel Subscription’.

The other way to unsubscribe is through the Play Store storefront. Open the menu in the app, then select ‘Subscriptions’ to view all your current and former subscriptions. Once you tap the ‘Remove link’ button, you would have cancelled the service.
On Mac
For subscribers who have either Catalina or Big Sur running on their Macs, you can go through the Apple icon, and then click on the ‘System Preferences’, and select ‘Apple ID’. Once you have clicked on ‘Media & Purchases’ on the sidebar, click on the ‘Manage’ button next to ‘Subscriptions’ to do whatever you want with your subscription.
The ‘Edit’ button next to your Apple Music subscription will take you to where you can click on ‘Cancel Subscription’.
Via Web
Apple Music can also be cancelled for users who can only access their account via a PC connected to the internet.
Once signed in to your Apple Music profile on the web with your details, you can access your profile from the upper-right corner and select ‘Settings’.
From the ‘Settings’ page, select the ‘Manage’ button in the Subscriptions section. And from the ‘Edit Your Subscription’ window, you may click the ‘Cancel Subscription’ button to end an existing subscription to Apple Music.
Notwithstanding, if you have only subscribed to Apple Music via a free trial, it will elapse for the time of the trial.
