Boxing experts have been submitting their predictions on who would win the fight, if Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder decided to get in a ring together.
For most, the unified world heavyweight champion would undoubtedly defeat Wilder to become the undisputed champion of the world. Others, however, think Wilder will emerge victorious if both men ever had a go at each other.
One man thinks both men have an almost equal chance at beating each other, although Joshua’s skill and technique will give him an edge over the American, who is only good for it in a thug fight.
“I believe he (Joshua) beats Wilder. It could go either way but I think AJ’s got too much for him.
“Don’t get me wrong if he gets hit on the chin by one of Wilder’s canvas-scraping uppercuts… Joshua could be in serious trouble. But I think Joshua will be too good for him.”
— Carl Froch, boxing analyst.
From his fights, it’s obvious the kind of damage Wilder can do in close quarters. However, we have also seen Joshua face men like Wilder and beat them at their own game.
Ergo a fight between Wilder and Joshua may yet be the biggest boxing fight we have seen since the days of Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.
Now its your turn to be the analyst, take the poll and tell me who you think would win the fight between Joshua and Wilder.
