Renewing your driver’s license is as getting it in the first place if not easier. Just like getting a driver’s license in the first place, much of the process is done online. In essence, there is no reason you should be pulled over and harassed by road safety officials because of an expired driver’s license. We will be letting you know just how to go about it without hitches.

- First, you must log on to: https://www.nigeriadriverslicence.org/dlApplication/renew. Fill in your driver’s license number and date of birth in the commensurate boxes.
- You will be redirected to the page where you can fill the FRSC driver’s license renewal form. Fill out those fields accurately.

- Make your payment for renewal at a designated bank or through the FRSC approved payment portals. The fee is ₦6,000 only for renewal.
- Make a printout of your payment teller or receipt as well as your application form. Then proceed to an FRSC licensing center and submit it. You will be issued a temporary driver’s license valid for 60 days (roughly two months) from the day of submission as the original should be available before then.
