Help the Flood Victims in Benue

Flooding. What is going on I’m sure we’re all wondering. Why the flood attacks this year? Or has it always been like this and the media is just picking up on it? A part of Makurdi flooded days ago and over 100,00 people have been displaced in 12 local government areas, news reports say. The President has directed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to immediately mobilise personnel and resources to come to the aid of the victims of the flooding. We sympathise with the people of Benue and pray for them. We also encourage you to reach out to them and assist in any way that you can. They need all our help right now. We’ve tried to reach out to NEMA and Benue State government via Twitter to find out the right bodies to donate to, we will keep you informed on their responses. Remember, any little assistance you give can go a long way for somebody. Don’t sit back and watch.
