Come 1st and 2nd of May, connoisseurs of taste from within and outside Nigeria would grace the fair, which happens to be the first annual food and drink fair to be hosted by GTB. This is a 2-day food exhibition and sales event that aims to project the diverse angles of the food industry by connecting various businesses involved in the production and sale of food related items to a cosmopolitan audience of food enthusiasts in order to build brand awareness and stimulate sales. This is part of the GTB SME MarketHub program aimed at promoting small businesses.
The fair is open to the public and will feature a wide range of food exhibitions showcasing and selling food products from a variety of fresh organic foods, dry foods, pastries, already made dishes, sets of kitchen utensils and top quality wine.
In addition to exhibitions and sales, the schedule also includes baking classes, hands-on cooking classes, wine tasting, cooking sessions for kids, outdoor grills and entertainment.
Renowned chefs to give master classes at the event include Marcus Samuelsson, Raphael Duntoye, Tiyan Alile, Alex Oke, Gbubemi Fregene, Ozoz Sokoh, Uzo Orimalade, Atim Ukoh and Iquo Ukoh.
