A habit is a routine you practice over time and becomes hard to give up. Many of us bully a lot of people into giving but hardly realize that we are not so giving ourselves. Giving should be a habit, and not seasonal. Here are reasons why you should have the giving habit: Giving will help you to appreciate life: To give even a small gift is to give a person a reason to celebrate and appreciate life.  Many give with the expectation of receiving larger gifts in the future but this is wrong. Your gifts can make a difference: Giving gifts can show how much you care for someone and can also help to transform the lives of people who need help. While that gift you gave out may be totally intangible to you, it may mean a whole lot to others. Your Time can make a Difference: A moment spent with someone can be the desired time they need to overcome the depression he/she may have fallen into. Because everyone is too busy making a living, we assume that everyone around us is fine. A little second spent with others can help rejuvenate lost hope and happiness. Giving Influences the society: Don’t wait till Christmas before you give to others, everyone should cultivate the habit of giving as it impacts positively on the society and the communal spirit is strengthened. It’s God’s Instructions: Giving is an injunction from God, hence you should continue to give to acquire the blessing from the almighty God.
