President of Nigeria’s ruling football body, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has revealed that Super Eagles chief coach, Gernot Rohr will be given a new contract in one week time. Pinnick went further to note that renewing the German tactician’s contract will only be possible if he accepts terms attached to his new contract.

The football chief also revealed that some of the new terms attached to Rohr’s contract include that: he must reside in Nigeria, be willing to be paid in naira, and consistent with watching Nigeria Professional Football League matches in other to pick players with aim towards nurturing them to become international stars.

In one week, Rohr will get his contract, he should study his contract and come back to us. So, give and take, within seven days, he should have his contract… The only thing that can impede the contract is if he refuses some of our new clauses in the contract…He should live in Nigeria and go around to watch the league matches and see how to nurture the players.

Commenting further, Pinnick noted that getting a new coach for the country’s senior side would not be a problem if Rohr rejects the offer.
