here to catch up on the gist. The Oba of Lagos is the latest personality who has put himself in a tight corner due to his provocative statements against the Igbos. As usual, Nigerians have started creating hilarious jokes which are currently trending on the internet.
Some of the funniest jokes are:
1. A picture of a man swimming with the caption: “A Yoruba boy swimming to go see his Igbo girlfriend. No lagoon can stop the love.”
2. Another joke that went viral was the picture showing people in a room putting their hands on their heads, with the description reading: “Staff in Ambode situation room after they heard the tape.”
3. One Nonso tweeted: “I am driving through Oba Akiolu’s lagoon to Victoria Island to buy recharge cards.”
4. Nigerian Comedian, Wale Gates made a paper sailor boat and wrote: “I made a boat to save my Igbo brothers, in case Oba Akiolu means business.”
