Funke Akindele Is Face Of ZAFAA 2018

Addressing Pressmen in Lagos recently, the Chief Executive Officer of Zulu Film Academy Awards (ZAFAA), Sam Alozie, announced Funke Akindele as the face of ZAFAA 2018. The award ceremony which holds this year on the 17^th of November 17, 2018 at Grace Point, Essex Road, London will have the award-winning Producer of the ‘Jenifa’ series co-hosting the event with ace comedian, MC Abbey. Assuring pressmen at the briefing, Mr. Sam noted that as the ‘biggest African film award outside Africa’, ZAFAA could be trusted with the process to selecting credible Winners; pointing out also that the organizer’s improved approach does not compromise quality and credibility. With Funke as Face of ZAFAA 2018, past winners will also be recognized at the event: Fredrick Leonard as Best Actor for ‘Woeman’; Ini Edo as Lead Actress for ‘While You Slept’; Moses Inwang for Best Director while Frankie Ogah won two awards for Best Picture Editing and Screenplay for ‘A Soldier’s Story’.   Featured Image from:  234star.com
